A BRIEF PRESANTATION OF OUR FIRM AND IT'S BACKGROUND

CICODA TOURISM SERV. INC. with it's past over 36 years , is one of the oldest tourist and travel organisations in Turkey.

It's possession of a particular publicity mode of it's own kind and pioneering in the introduction of the novelties and fresh ideas to the Turkish market at organizing and handling of both outbound and inbound tourist traffic,are the most important characteristics of our establishment.

Starting with the early seventies, Cicoda Tourism became the sole travel agency in Turkey that handled more then and average of 150.000 foreign tourists per annum,a target which it reached with it' top quality services much beyond the routine handling and a most competitive price policy.Only further to penetration of a couple of major foreign tour operator into Turkey, by establishing their own handling agencies or going into partnerships with some local agencies, this figures have been reached and left behind.

Naturally after a certain period of examining and thorough study, most of this novelties which may also be called as the firsts, were started to be put in to practice by it's competitors.Among the few firsts which no competitor has been able to adapt until now, is the sea cruises which CICODA TOURISM has been successfully organizing during the past 34 years with a frequency of 3 - 4 cruises per annum by means of self chartered vessels.

Due to recent occurrence of new circumstances and conditions, Cicoda Tourism has changed it's policy of operating cruises by self chartered cruise ships and decided to start marketing the programs of major cruise companies, possessing and operating large fleets of luxurious mega cruise ships world wide.

Thanks to it's rich portfolio composed of high quality clientele Cicoda has booked 489 passengers to it's guided group departures from Turkey to various itineraries covering the West Caribbean, South Caribbean, Mediterranean, North Sea and Fiords and Far East cruise programs jointly with inclusive land services packages, in a very short period of time such as eleven months.

We have to emphasize that this figure excludes incentive groups and passengers who just book a cruise to which they attend on their own, neglecting any guidance and group organization services package of CICODA TOURISM.

The ratio of participation to sea cruises this year and the preceding years, indicates a decrease of 400 % per annum according to our statistics and calculations, and this mostly is due to the novelty of the presentation of such tours in Turkey.

We strongly believe that a better price policy and a few simple additions to the services already rendered aboard, will increase participation volume to a level much higher than the most optimistic estimations.
